The registration form below is for marketing purposes only. Data is collected for customers within the USA, Mexico, and Latin America. This registration does not control or monitor your warranty in any way. You must still provide a copy of your original sales receipt to show proof of purchase to obtain service under warranty. The Kenwood Warranty information is shown below for your reference.

Limited Warranty on Amateur Radios, Accessories and Options

Kenwood Communications ("KENWOOD") warrants its Amateur Radios, accessories and options, as follows:
HOW LONG IS THE WARRANTY
This Warranty will remain in effect for one (1) year from the date of purchase by the original purchaser.

WHO IS PROTECTED
This Warranty is enforcable only by the original purchaser.

WHAT IS COVERED AND WHAT IS NOT COVERED
Except as specified below, this Warranty covers all defects in materials and workmanship in KENWOOD Amateur Radios, accessories and options. The following are not covered by the Warranty:
1.	Damage, deterioration or failure resulting from:
A.	Accident, misues, abuse, neglect, unauthorized product modification or failure to follow instructions contained in your Owner's manual.
B.	Water or other elements.
C.	Repair or attempted repair by anyone not authorized by KENWOOD.
D.	Installation of parts or accessories that do not conform to the quality or specifications of the original parts or accessories.
E.	Installation of the product in, or removal of the product from, the vehicle or other site of its use.
F.	Installation of accessories or options from other Manufacturers.
2.	Damage or loss occuring during shipment of the product (claims must be presented to the carrier).
3.	Any unit which is not new when sold to the first end user or upon which the serial number has been defaced, modified or removed.

WHAT WE WILL PAY FOR AN WHAT YOU MUST PAY FOR
KENWOOD will pay all labor and material expenses for items covered by this Warranty. If it is necessary to ship the product for Warranty service, you are responsible for the initial shipping charges, but we will pay for the return shipping charges if the product is repaired or replaced under Warranty. You are responsible for any charges incurred in removing the product from the vehicle or other site of use and for reinstallation of the repaired or replaced product.

HOW TO OBTAIN WARRANTY SERVICE
Your KENWOOD Amateur Radio, accessory or option may be services by any authorized KENWOOD Amateur Radio Servicing Dealer or Service Center. Whenever the product is presented for warranty service, you must supply a sales receipt or other evidence of the date of purchase. If you are uncertain as to whether a Service Center is authorized, please call 1-800-KENWOOD (1-800-536-9663) for the nearest Service Center.

LIMITATION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES
ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE LENGTH OF THIS WARRANTY.

EXCLUSION OF DAMAGES
KENWOOD'S LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF ANY DEFECTIVE PRODUCT. KENWOOD SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES, WHETHER INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR OTHERWISE, BECAUSE OF ANY DEFECTIVE KENWOOD PRODUCT, EVEN IF KENWOOD HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS ON HOW LONG AN IMPLIED WARRANTY LASTS AND/OR DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS AND EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

This Warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state.

This Warranty is enforcable only if the product has been purchased and used in the United States of America. Warranty Service must be obtained in the United States of America.

If a problem develops during or after the Limited Warranty Period, or if you have any questions regarding the operation of the product, you should contact your KENWOOD Authorized Dealer or Authorized Service Center. If the problem or your question is not handled to your satisfaction, please contact our Customer Relations Department at the address listed below:
